We were recently introduced to design label Modern Amusement and eagerly await their Spring/Summer collection.
The label has California dreaming in it’s DNA with references to upper crust lifestyle and sun-drenched beaches through clean, unpretentious and comfortable clothing. Their Spring/Summer 2008 collection is entitled Imaginary Proposal and includes the labels twist on wardrobe staples from polos to V-necks.
Their Premium Pique polos feature a half-cut collar which allows for a stand-up collar styling without the douche-bag connotations. Graphic art tee’s redefine wearable art with bold imagery and keep comfort with pima cotton (one of the best kinds of cotton available). Shorts in the collection keep a light weight and relaxed vibe.
But for us, the stand outs are the Riva Reversible V-neck sweaters. One side is a solid, classic V-neck while the other side is a stripe pattern made of pima fine gauge cotton. Amusingly modern!
