Give me the business!

Blaze Columbia just released his new line of men’s and women’s suits — and he was kind enough to send me several to mix and match. In these photos I went with a classic power suit, charcoal, and added a pink cami under the blazer for a little color. A strand of pearls, and perhaps the best business bun in Second Life, ETD’s Couture Knot hairstyle.
Some of the remarkable details that thrilled me about this collection are the highlights on the dress pants, esepcially along the creases, the ingenius way that Blaze put together the skirt — it uses flexi-prims, but it does so in a way that gives a convincing illusion of a fabric cut in a business style A-line skirt. The tone-on-tone shading for each color is excellent as well, making the collars and buttons and other detail pieces really contrast against the underlying fabric color. And if things get a little more casual as your business meeting, the included camisole looks as nice as the jacket — and has some really nice detail work as well. Unlike some “throwaway” layers, you won’t feel embarrassed wearing it without the jacket on top.
